Starting 19 May 2025, NDIS will implement 3-month funding periods to help participants manage their budget, ensuring supports are available when needed and reducing the risk of funds running out too early. This change will not affect total funding amounts but will adjust when funds are accessible. Unused funds within the same plan will roll over to the next period, but won’t carry over to a new plan. Participants must ensure funds align with their approved supports.
